The ENEC Mark is the European conformity mark for electrotechnical products commonly agreed among the national certification bodies of European states.
After testing of an electrotechnical product with positive result on the basis of applicable European Norms by the VDE Institute, the certificate (licence) for the use of the commonly agreed mark together with the well-known VDE Mark (as displayed below) will be granted. The VDE Mark is optional in this context.
The VDE-ENEC Symbol is a label specially for lamps, lamp components and other electrotechnical products, which are audited concerning safety and quality criteria based on European harmonised standards listed in the ENEC-agreement.
