PAPIRUS guide on implementing public procurement of innovation published
A guide to implementing public procurement of innovation (PPI) has been published by the EU-funded PAPIRUS project, providing a basic introduction to the topic as well as recommendations based on the experience of the PAPIRUS project partners. The document gives both a theoretical description of PPI and practical tips which can be directly applied.
Demonstration cases from Italy, Germany, Norway and Spain are included in the document, providing real-life examples of PPI in practice. The guide also looks at organising and planning for PPI in advance, conducting a dialogue with the market, implementing tenders, carrying out an evaluation, and more. The guide is currently available in English and Spanish and will soon be translated into Italian and German.
