Save the date 3 February 2016 for a webinar on “Sustainable Public Procurement (SPP) and the Circular Economy”
We are pleased to invite you to the webinar on “Sustainable Public Procurement (SPP) and the Circular Economy”, hosted by the United Nations Environment Programme Division of Technology, Industry and Economics, Cities and Lifestyles Unit and co-organized with GPP2020, SPP Regions and REBUS, in the framework of the Sustainable Public Procurement Programme of the 10-Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production Patterns.
The webinar will take place on Wednesday 3 February at 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. CET. You may register for the webinar here. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing the information about joining the webinar.
The objectives of the webinar are to:
- Introduce the concept of Circular Procurement through best practice examples selected from the projects GPP2020, SPP Regions and REBUS;
- Report on the final deliverable of the 10YFP SPP programme working group 3a on “Integrating Product Service Systems in Sustainable Public Procurement”;
- Present activities of the new group 4c “Promoting Resource Efficient Business Models and Circular Economy”, including the upcoming Circular Procurement congress on 20-22 of April in Amsterdam.

The 10YFP SPP programme is a global platform that supports the implementation of SPP around the world. It brings together a variety of stakeholders, building synergies & leveraging resources to progress towards its two major goals of building the case for SPP and supporting SPP implementation on the ground .
